What is coaching?

Coaching is not about giving advice, but about helping people find their own answers and solutions.  Using active listening and a range of tools and techniques, a coach can help you with areas you want to develop. You may want to prepare for a job interview, learn to manage in a new role, handle a difficult work or life situation, plan for a change in career, or just need a sounding board to help move forward.  Coaching is confidential, safe, and is recognised as one of the fastest and most effective ways to develop.

Coaching is outcome focused and is based on a belief that people have the resources to find their own solutions.

"Only you can create your reality"

"I began my coaching journey at a time of low confidence and with little hope of it being effective. Within 3 months I had achieved my objective of securing a more senior post. Coaching gave me the confidence required to apply for the position and approach the interview believing I would succeed." -- NHS Manager, Hampshire

"Insightful questions and challenge made all the difference to my growth." -- Associate Director, Portsmouth

"The right balance of leaving responsibility for moving things forward with me but using the appropriate level of challenge to ensure that I moved out of my comfort zone, something which was vital to ensure that the objectives were achieved."  -- Senior Manager

"I am a transformed person now, more confident than I have ever been.  I am very grateful to Anne and highly recommend her as a coach." -- Louise Bevan, Public Health Manager

"Jut thought I'd let you know they offered me the job and I accepted! I think the coaching helped me big time, for confidence, so thanks again." SG

"Coaching helped me with my confidence starting a new job - thank you. " AF
