Obvious?  it may be, but how many of us keep on going even if the results we are getting are not what we want.  You know the saying: "If you always do what you have always done, you will always get what you have always got."

The good news is that you don't have to change a whole lot!  You can just tweek your direction, to set off on a whole new trajectory that gets you to a whole different place.

Someone I am coaching at the moment isn't sure of their direction and so they are applying for job after job - and getting lots of offers, but they aren't sure which offer to take.  Focusing on the key elements of their perfect, dream job helped them to clarify the jobs that were not worth going for.  So there was lots of money, for example, but they worked out they were not motivated by that. What mattered was making a difference, and having control of their life.  A whole different set of factors came into play, to give them insight into what was important.

So what are the key factors for you? What matters most in your work life? And do you work to live, or live to work? do you even know?
